About Us: His Way Church History

His Way Church International began as a home cell in
Auckland New Zealand when Rob and Caroline DeLuca
opened up their home for a Sunday night cell meeting. The
Holy Spirit began to draw people and a core group began to
develop, committed to seeing Auckland and New Zealand won for
Jesus. The sermons were full of fire, the worship was passionate, the prayer was fervent and there was plenty of love for all.

In May of 2003 we had well out-grown the house meetings and rented out a 100 seat Methodist church building in the Auckland suburb of Mission Bay. Our first church service had over 50 adults in attendance.

It was during this time at Mission Bay that we also began our Monday night prayer meetings. Everything we do is built on fervent prayer. It has caused us to get the breakthrough when circumstances told us otherwise. Over 60% of the church regularly attends our weekly prayer meetings.

During these formative years Rob and Caroline DeLuca traveled regularly to America and other countries and God began to divinely connect them with church leaders from around the world.

In June 2004 our church moved once again to Jubilee Hall in Parnell Auckland, however all the time praying that God would give us a church building to call home and a place where we had room to multiply since we soon started to fill the Jubilee Hall.

In July 2005 Pastors Max and Bev Legg who pastor Victory Christian Church graciously allowed us to rent The Beaumont Centre for two years.

In March 2008, we moved into "The Upper Room" on the North Shore of Auckland after a word from God to 'Take The North!'  We finally have our own sanctuary to use for Revival meetings.  We can foresee already that this building will not be big enough to house what God is doing in our church! 

Whats Next?

1. We are getting ready to do Television to show God's power across the nation of New Zealand.  We have already reached 1.2 million people on Prime TV that have witnessed the power of God.  Our hearts desire is to bring Salvation and the Fire of God into every home in New Zealand.

2. We are also getting ready to start New Zealand's first School of Revival to call all Revivalists across the country to be trained, raised up and sent out with the Spirit of Revival to invade New Zealand and the nations of the world.
